Latest update broke the game

Brilliant adaptation until the latest update (March 25, 2016) broke the game on my iPad Air and iPhone 5. Online play is not available (option on the start screen is greyed out) and single player crashes the app once you click Start Game. Device restart and app re-download and reinstall didnt help. No word on this issue on their website or app support. Save your money until this is fixed.
